    8 years ago. We (2) will be coming to Boulder for 4 days in early December and are considering using the RTD AB Line from DIA instead of renting a car. We are familiar with car rental (painful, costly) and the drive from DIA. The ~1.5 hr bus ride to downtown Boulder with a senior fare of only $4.50 each way is making RTD look darn attractive.

    You can explore Boulder and figure out the free busses to get to some hiking trails there. In Denver, light rail won’t help you sightsee.
