Answer 1 of 8: Has anyone ever booked their car rental through Priceline? Car rentals seem super expensive.. just checked Alamo the other day and it was going to cost us $225 for 6 days.... i remember looking a month ago and it was only going to cost $125.

However time pressures sometimes means it’s easier to see the sort of prices on offer on an aggregator site rather than traveling through each supplier individually. I’ve learned a lesson though. 83. Re: BEWARE - Do NOT book a car rental through Priceline.com. I reserved and prepaid for a Dollar car rental through Priceline in early Sep. 2021, for pick-up a couple of days later at EWR. When I got to the rental counter after an hour standing in line, the agent could not find any reservation for me.
