    Also, international debit cards take 200 pesos extra for every withdrawal you make. For USD exchanges, there is a very low charge. Travelled to 30+ destinations in the Philippines - no one ever tried to steal my debit or credit card. Never got any money stolen either.

    My Australian bank card and credit card was accepted in all ATM's and shops I tried. The most I could take out was 10,000 P however at the airport I tried for 15,000 and it worked. Fee charged by the ATM was 250 P. Of course, your bank may charge a fee as well from their end for the withdrawal.
