My plane was scheduled to arrive around 7:00PM so I booked a car rental for 8:00pm. However, my plane arrived late and I did not get to the rental counter until a few minutes after midnight.

83. Re: BEWARE - Do NOT book a car rental through Priceline.com. I reserved and prepaid for a Dollar car rental through Priceline in early Sep. 2021, for pick-up a couple of days later at EWR. When I got to the rental counter after an hour standing in line, the agent could not find any reservation for me.

However time pressures sometimes means it’s easier to see the sort of prices on offer on an aggregator site rather than traveling through each supplier individually. I’ve learned a lesson though. "Concession Recovery Fee (CFR) - This fee is to reimburse Hertz for concession fees paid for each rental at this location. Customer Facility Charge - The Airport requires that all car rental companies collect this fee.

3 years ago. Kirk, you did not rent a car from Priceline, you rented from a rental company and had Priceline book it. That means you are held to the terms you agreed to with both companies. You are not entitled automatically to a refund because you had personal things go wrong.
