Otherwise, look at the four places that are right at the west end of the runways: TownePlace Suites; Hampton Inn; Courtyard Liberty Station; Homewood Suites Liberty Station.

   Dec 19, 2023, 9:02 AM. Alamo, Hertz, Avis, National, Enterprise -- we mostly do one-day rentals from San Diego and return the car in Orange County or L.A. when we are getting on a cruise ship or flying out of LAX. We've used all of the major brands at various times and never had a problem.

   We are kinda thinking that Dollar isnt disclosing the full taxes in their rate. When you get an email from them in fine print at the end of the confirmation it says: Effective 1/1/07, an airport concession fee of 11.11 percent will apply to all rentals. Effective 1/1/07, a tourism surcharge of 2.5 percent will apply.
