   15 years ago. Hi. I have made myself an expert on evaluation of rental car rates over the past 3 months. Now I cannot speak for Canadian AAA membership, but I know that I could save at least 10% on a posted rate. But, and there is a catch! You must watch carefully that they do not apply this savings to a "market" rate.

   Other rental car companies have better options for tourists. Enterprise, National, and Alamo have a toll option that allows you to use the cashless lanes, and you will be billed for the actual tolls incurred plus a fee of $2 a day for each day you incurred a toll, up to $6 total per rental. That is a much better value.
