   15 years ago. Thanks to a tip on Mousesavers for rental car codes, I stumbled on a Walmart coupon code for Budget. Mousesavers said the code is for Walmart customers (ie everyone) and didn't list any other stipulations. Anyhow, without the code, total cost for an intermediate car is $269. With the Walmart code, the cost is an amazing $155.

   The cost is 150% of what the Ez Pass fee is. There are no extra fines or charges. You just pay the cash toll price which is 50% higher then the prepaid Ez Pass costs. Well unless you are in a rental car ( I travel with my Ez Pass and a pouch that blocks the signal for the rental car companies Ez Pass).
