9 years ago. I am mapping out a massive USA Road Trip and had my route drive times on the website: roadtrippers.com. A couple times seems 'long' to me so I went to google maps & all times were significantly shorter (yippee!). Went to mapquest.com & times were similar to Google Maps BU each leg of trip was 15-30 minutes longer on mapquest.
Assuming you are coming from MCO. The first toll on the 528 is $1 and the second toll is 75c. For the sake of $1.75 it is much easier and quicker just to take the 528 to the hotel. It will only take 15mins rather than driving through non-toll roads with traffic lights everywhere. Also the tolls on 528 are manned and give change.
It seems that the safest route in terms of traffic from Morris County in NJ is to take Rt 206, 202, 31 to 95 through Philly and pick up 301 in Delaware, just outside of Maryland. From there I think it becomes 50/301 and then I have a choice of taking it to 95 or continue on down to 17, I believe, and into Williamsburg.
