Yes TR26, there are many things on TA which should be redesigned or made more user-friendly. Sometimes they don’t make it easy. But that’s why some of us spend time over on the Support forum helping others who can’t find things, and why lots lots of links and contacts have been put in the Top Questions section on that forum.

As a new user of the TripAdvisor forums, I would suggest reading the "sticky" at the top of the forum’s page before posting in any forum. The sticky will explain the focus/purpose of the forum and other important details. As an example, the sticky for this forum reads; “PLEASE READ: How to use this forum” and has a pushpin icon beside it.
Unfortunately you cannot modify or edit a review. You will have to request Trip Advisor to remove it first of all, but make sure you make a copy of it and save it as a word processor file, if you have not already done so . I would like to make one comment to TA: on the 'dispute a review' form there are a choice of reasons as to why a review is disputed. In all honesty, none of the reasons were appropriate in this case. So as to proceed with disputing the review I had to choose one. I chose 'not true'.
im trying to contact someone who posted a review of a guesthouse i recently stayed in, i have tried the personal message option, but had no reply, is there another way to get in touch with them, i need to contact them as i am trying to claim back the cost of my stay due to the quality of the accomodation, their review backs up my claim, any help appreciated.
