To change you display name, you need to change the first name and last name fields in your account settings. The new first name and first initial will be then shown as a friendly name for your display name. Click on the down arrow next to your name and avatar on the top right of your screen, and select Account Settings.
Answer 1 of 3: I used to be able to sign in with my username but now I can't find that option. It looks like we can only sign in with our email and password now. I don't remember the email associated with my account.

Usually it's because your TA account and another account (FB, google, etc.) or another device (iphone, etc.) shared your info with each other. You can change it back.. I think I've seen threads with posts in both your names, so it might have happened to you before, too..
