Therefore the drive time will vary based on time of day (i.e. commute traffic vs. off hours), any accidents, etc. We live close to Silicon Valley and no one uses MapQuest here anymore.

However, for the most part, those given time estimates are based on point to point at the legal posted speed limit, under ideal conditions. There really is no hard and fast formula for converting those distances into real world drive times within the parks.
