I bank here at ABSA and use their ATMs. I bank with Wells Fargo in the US, and am charged $5 for each withdrawal I make here - so I take the maximum amount of rand the ABSA ATM will give me each time I do withdraw - R3000. The exchange rate is good for visitors right now, bad for South Africa, running about 9.3 rand to the dollar.
