Rental car prices are tricky, you need to focus on total cost, not just the car rental cost. For example, my Dallas SIXT Mercedes CLA rental for 5 days is $160, but add on tax is $95, about 60% tax, total is $260.

So, a friend suggested to try Turo.com and he used the services and was very happy. Its like airbnb for car rental. Im able to see Ford Mustang 2017 for 50$ a day, which is a neat deal.

   My Geico policy covers rentals through Turo. I just called and asked and they said yes. Turo is a real rental car company. They also provide free roadside assistance is anything goes wrong and 24/7 phone support. Turo doesnt let cars on the platform without current safety and registration exactly like Uber and Lyft.
