Can I look up a trip with the ticket number? To view a reservation, you must have the United confirmation number. However, you’re also able to check in for a flight using the 13-digit ticket number beginning with “016.”.

How do I check my flight status? Just select “Flight Status” at the bottom of your app screen. If you’re signed in, you’ll see the flight status of all upcoming trips that begin in the next 48 hours.

You can change your flight on united.com or the United app in four steps: Go to My Trips. Select “Change flight”. Select “Edit” to update your flight. Choose a new flight. You can also change your flight over the phone, but you might be charged a fee.

Enter your confirmation or eTicket number and last name, or log in using your MileagePlus® account information. Use a printed boarding pass or electronic boarding pass on your mobile device to board the flight. If you are eligible for online check-in, go to united.com/checkin.

To request an upgrade for an existing reservation, sign in to your MileagePlus account or call the Premier Priority Desk phone number on your digital membership card. You can request a PlusPoints upgrade from the time you get your ticket until your flight check-in cutoff time.
