Expedia featured on a recent Watchdog episode because people had booked hotel rooms and had received written confirmation from Expedia but on arrival found that no room had been booked. If you do book rooms with them, make sure you contact the hotel directly before your arrival to ensure they do indeed have a record of your booking.
