I do see the T&C and the 3rd party one is listed (I **** it): Reservation must be at a rental location that offers Skip the Counter. Reservation must not exceed 30 days. Reservation must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

The potential issue with using Debit is that any pre-authorisation ("hold") placed on your card is held against your money, rendering it inaccesible for any other purpose until it's cleared/settled. So your account has to contain enough to cover this pluds your actual spends.

8. Re: Alamo - Skip the counter - Debit Card. 8 years ago. Save. Well I put in Debit Card details and it accepts everything and gave me confirmation including barcode. I have now been informed I should just go with barcode, licence, card and rental agreement to pick my carand drive to exit barrier.
