I was told by them they will cover us and we also use Amex to pay for as many things as possible and they also pay for some of the medical expenses. Yet I read on a post that they won’t.

    If I can offer you an observation from someone who works for tour operators. I've led group tours for over 15 yrs with well over 200 tours. I have worked for many of the top tour operators and have friends that work for many others.
