Budget does not let you "skip the line" they apparantly have a seperate fast break line. The last time I was with Budget there was a line out the building and they let people in a few at a time. Wait times were about 90 min.
I just tried to do the same thing: add my Alamo Insider number to an existing reservation booked through Costco. The 855 area code Alamo Insider desk said they could not do it, and referred me (not transferred me) to another Alamo desk at 800 651 1223. They were familiar with the problem but said it cannot be done, do it at the rental counter.
Answer 91 of 94: I have a reservation with Alamo right now and I see that Budget has come down in price and is about the same price as my reservation with Alamo. Is one better then another?
I hired a top of the range 4x4 SUV. The remote locking was missing. This may not sound too bad but the car only had a keyhole on the driver's door. This made opening the tailgate or passenger door impossible without going to the drivers door.
