   2. Re: Which Rental Car Companies Are Easiest at Airport. All car rental facilities at LAX are off-site, and you will need to take a shuttle from the terminal to get to one. I would stick with the major firms - Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz, National, Thrifty.

All of the car rental companies are 'off site' at LAX but since you're flying in from Buffalo, you won't have a non-stop flight.
