I have a few reservations with different companies. I’ll be canceling and let one or two remain. Right now I have enterprise $590; and thrifty $400; and Avis $600.

I need a rental car for 2 weeks and the Enterprise location at 999 Ave Ashford is half the price of the rental at the airport; the website says it's .7 miles but Enterprise says it's about 4.5 miles; I know there are no add'l state taxes... how difficult would it be to get from the airport ...
Having used Alamo SJU many times now I can say it is the best car rental experience I have had anywhere in the world including other Alamo's and various other companies. On top of that it regularly has the best rate at SJU and is close to the rates of off airport agencies. Edited: 7 years ago. Report inappropriate content.
Jan 6, 2024, 12:47 PM. Basically any of the rental agencies on airport property are pretty good. Use whatever discounts you have. Most of the major rental car companies have a presence. Check with your local insurance company as most will cover you in PR. Join the rental club for whomever you chose and use the Kiosks to check in to avoid the line.
