Your phone will ring and you'll get text messages (unless you don't have a plan and are using GoPhone). I would suggest you turn it off if you don't want a huge bill when you return home.

It SEEMS to say in the fine print that from the time you make the first call to the U.S., as long as you stop using the plan before 24 hours are up, you can go as many days as you want without using it and without paying for it, and then when you do use it, you've got another 24 hours of use.
12 years ago. Each text for me was .50 and it was roughly $1.69 per minute. I made 5 calls to the US and sent about 8-9 texts, also received 4. I paid probably a extra $29.00 on my cell bill. I do have a International plan with AT&T. It was not as bad as I thought it would be. Report inappropriate content.
