   You can also google in car rental coupon codes. Recently I was submitting prices almost daily on priceline, & they weren't accepting my offer. I found a coupon code online that I submitted thru a national car rental chain & got a lower price than the offer priceline refused! I also had the option of changing my reservation (or canceling).

   I attempted to rent a car from Priceline, had trouble connecting to the site. When I arrived at Budget Rental Car I had 2 bookings for the same date/car. I attempted to resolve by calling customer service located in Philippines. Refused to issue a refund though they admitted to not having sent a confirmation email for the first rental.

   Answer 1 of 9: I have used both of these sites for hotel rooms, but never car rentals... And considering car rental prices just went up 50% for my trip... It seems to be just like booking on a car rental website...no money until you get there.

   In Can$, I can rent at budget with the Costco codes for $157. I think hotwire is $118 at Thrifty, are there any other fees on there, I have never rented from Hotwire, only booked hotels. I don't know Priceline at all, can I get cheaper with them. Any thoughts or help is appreciated?

   Thanks for your help. I have searched hotwire, priceline, etc. I have been to every rental car company site and I have searched lots of discount code sites. It seems that car rental prices are $300 to $800 higher than last year. I have done so much homework searching, my fingers hurt.
