As mentioned, at 2 or 3 in the morning the shuttles are probably less frequent but they constantly run so no reservation needed.
$9 a day is the going coupon rate for the offsite lots and probably the cheapest. You can find coupons online, in the paper, Valu-pak mailers, etc. I normally use Airlines Parking on Merriman. US Park (Middlebelt) will accept any business card for the $9 "corporate" rate. Quik Park is another on Merriman.
Avoid using Premier Parking USA, which uses the parking lot behind the Holiday Inn/Hampton Inn at Belleville at exit 190 on US 94.The shuttle runs only at the top of the hour, so once you book and pay up online, you are stuck.
12 reviews. 41 helpful votes. 1. Re: Parking at DTW. 5 years ago. Have you considered driving yourself and using one of the offsite parking lots. It's easy peasy. Just drop your car they shuttle you to the airport and on return they drive you right back to your car. With a coupon it's $10/day.
Just an update to the information on this thread. Long term parking on site at the Big Blue is now $16 a day. There are online coupons for both Quik park and US Park for $10 per day. Also, a number of hotels (the Westin and many of the Hilton brands in the area) have park and stay plans. Report inappropriate content.
All of the off-site parking companies (Quik Park, US Park, Airlines Parking, etc.) are open 24 hours a day, and average at about $9-10/day. Allow about 15-20 extra minutes for the shuttle ride from the lot to McNamara.
