    Also, you can still see Manhattan from the seats on the left, just not quite as well as from the right. Traveling to NYC, I prefer sitting on the left for the intermittent coastal scenery and am always wowed as I see the city approaching, even from across the aisle (and even though I've been numerous times and lived there hundreds of years ago).
