   12 years ago. If you shop the weekly ads you'll find WD has the better meat and prices but Publix definitly offers a better overall experience. The evil empire still beats them both for if you are strictly shopping prices. Fresh Market has it's merits too, their chalkboard specials are sometimes really good.

   5 years ago. I am not a fan of Wal-Mart, but its good for paper goods, snacks and cereal due to prices. However for meat I would choose Publix unless you can get a fresh cut from Winn Dixie. Watch the dates on the packages or have them hand cut. As long as you aren't there at the end of the night they will be glad to fresh cut a steak for you.
