   11 reviews. 13 helpful votes. Can you return Budget Car rental early? 3 years ago. So I booked a car from SFO Budget and (returning in Oakland) a few months ago for a 9 day trip for $700. The trip now has to be shortened to 6 days and I'll need to return the car early. If I rebook that trip, I'll end up paying $1020 now for the 6 days.

If you were to take the car back early, you might be charged for 6 days, instead of the cheaper weekly rate. Report inappropriate content.
