When I last booked Emirates through an agent they booked the seats for me, then I joined Skywards and went through Manage my Booking to change them later at on-line check in time. That may have changed now.
The Emirates booking would have been instantly confirmed and immediately available in Manage my Booking on Travelup and Emirates website the minute it was purchased. It is instantly confirmed. What is not instant is the issuing of the e-ticket, that can take time depending how many bookings ahead of this one needs processing.
Hello Apples70, I work in travel and the answer to your question is no, you are only able to view the aircraft seating plan and reserve your seat once your flight has been booked and paid for. Even then seat numbers are not guaranteed and can be change by Emirates upto date of departure. Hope this helps.
On the Emirates website, it says you can use the Manage A Booking option to change/cancel your flights due to Covid. If this doesn't work for you, as per jaynewcastle11, i would contact them. Personally i wouldn't take the risk of just not turning up, as they may treat this as a no show and close your tickets.

Answered: We book our flights thru travel agency and we ask them if we eligible for dubai connect service they only ask us to check our manage booking but I can't see ant complimentary service or dubai connect option.
