2 years ago. I am having a hard time figuring out how we can pick our seats on AA for a flight we booked through Qatar. I picked my Qatar seats, but it wouldn't let me pick the AA flights. When I went to AA and out in both my ticket number and confirmation number from the Qatar booking it says it is not found.

Re: Qatar Seat selection. a quick check of their FAQ produces: "Starting from 2 March 2020, Preferred Seats will be available on the Qatar Airways website during your booking or post purchase in 'Manage Booking'. You may also select your Preferred Seat by contacting the nearest Qatar Airways office, Contact Centre or at the time of check-in."

After that, I'd rebuke whatever travel agent you used for giving you wrong information. If it was a shonky online booking site, though, I wouldn't waste my time.

Hello. After booking my travel with Qatar Airways some weeks ago, I checked online under "Booking" and my flights were recorded on the system. When I went online 24 hours prior to the flight to check in, the system said "No upcoming travel". That really rattled me. I went to the tab "Check online", checked in, and received my boarding pass by SMS.
6. Re: Qatar Airways Seat Allocation Question. 3 years ago. I went back online and did a dummy booking to check the cost of seats at the basic economy fare and it works out at $210 for the cheapest seats on all legs of our flights - so basically the same price as the more expensive economy fare.
