Rest areas in NM can close down in winter. I always have backup gas stations/truck stops. North I25 had rest area open between Las Vegas and Wagon Mound and another between Springer and Raton. Also along that route is Russells Truck Stop just north of Springer. Nothing much between Las Vegas and Raton food wise except for there.

The High Road to Taos is closed from near Truchas to near Penasco. Probably won't be open tomorrow, so if you have plans to drive it, you may want to reconsider.
