Basically, because I bought the ticket then cancelled it within the span of a few hours, the "available funds" on my credit card reduced by the cost of the ticket, and today it went back up by the cost of the ticket. The reason for the refund policy is because the train is very popular and booking is essential and done through their website, unlike normal train services you just can't turn up at the ticket office in the station and buy on the day, the Conductor of the train if any seats are unsold may be able to sell them there and then prior to departure but it's very much a long shot!
4 years ago. I am still having trouble getting a refund for show tickets from March, 2020, Customer service at Vegas .com originally stated I would receive a refund by 2 April, 2020. Then they sent another email stating the refund would be provided by 20 May, 2020. No refund has been provided to me. My question: is anyone else having this problem.
Even their website gives a link to more Covid refund information that goes to some other site that requires a login that you don't have. They even screw up their links. Sheesh! If you want to book an excursion, use GET YOUR GUIDE instead. They provide full refunds or rescheduling capabilities. Way better than Viator!
At the end of the day, if someone booked a non refundable room they should not expect to get a refund, although it should always be possible to cancel and lose the money. That's not to say that getting a refund on a non refundable booking is impossible.
