2. Re: Password reset. Use the computer/tablet version of TripAdvisor not the cutdown phone version. Click on your avatar, top right. Click on Account info (you may have to re-enter your password) Scroll down, and under your password, in small print, there's the option to Reset your password.
When you open the email, you'll also see the Certified Mail banner above the message details. When you get a message that seems to be from AOL, but it doesn't have those 2 indicators, and it isn't alternatively marked as AOL Official Mail, it might be a fake email.
