We've found the Sydney Ent book pay for itself after 2-3 restaurant visits, and it's a good incentive to try new places. As for quality, I guess it's a personal opinion, and depends greatly on your standards/expectations.

Its definately cheaper booking online, thru the entertainment book or RACQ,NRMA etc. The most expensive way is at the gate. You can get shop-a-dockets on occasion which offer substantial discounts, but generally this is offerred to locals. {Quite often they don;t check I.D and if they do, its generally only one person in your party.}
