The movie theatre itself is very clean and well maintained that I could tell. The restrooms are clean. They show brand-new movies and now you can pick your seat. The prices are half to a third of the cost of other AMC theatres. There's a tiny arcade area near the entrance/exit - not enough to really amuse kids for very long IMO.
Clean safe theater. We rarely attend movie theaters as we enjoy watching movies at home--just our preference. However, really wanted to see 1917 shortly I saw the first ad for it. Went to the local theater and pleased with the experience. Everything well organized, clean and no young ones interrupting viewing.

The sound system is a little primitive - center, left and right. It gets the job done, but don't expect 7.1 Dolby surround. The projectors are equipped to show 35mm and digital, so you'll get old movies and more modern fare too. Now, a couple of downsides: no credit cards. Cash is king at the Grand Illusion, so prepare ahead.
