Thousands of people have good experiences every day renting their cars ... but 99% of review writers are the vast minority who have a bad experience.
The Budget office was closed and Avis was managing Budget's rental cars at the Denver Airport. There were three to four people working at the counter and more than 500 people waiting. The indoor area was over-crowded leaving hundreds of people exposed to COVID-19, elderly people were falling down and children and adults were crying.

Reviewed May 25, 2011. Bad service in every aspect possible. We rented through their website with 10% discount. The TOTAL on the recite was $197. We rented for 4 days, after return were charged full week rate + $ 71.89 for full tank (18 gallons for the car that hardly contains 15 gallons) fuel charge with no refund for unused fuel (in our case ...

Case #29445007 - Rental #252465323 - I was a first time renter and when I went to pick up my Ford Focus or similar car for my original rental the people at Denver said they did not have any and I would have to take a Smart car size car. This was not going to work for me.
