In the FIRST conversation with the EXPEDIA "service" representative (over 2 hours, mainly on hold), we requested a person and address where we could send a WRITTEN report. They said they would e-mail us the information. We received an e-mail, with NO address for written responses, only a new CASE NUMBER.
I googled the expedia customer support centre contact (UK) and got a number which I called, as there was a queue the bot offered to call me back, which they did, I had to wait but got through to very helpful guy who put me through to the refund sections and after half an hour they had the details and confirmed we would get a full refund.
I have spent over 12 hours on the phone with customer service just trying to get a copy of this decision and three times after being on the phone for nearly an hour my call was transferred to a totally different company (Social Security hotline, a credit card company and a mortgage company).
Ive contacted Expedia so many times but they said they can't do anything about it. They didn't offer travel voucher of any kind. I phoned the Belgian airline myself and the airline said to contact Expedia. I spent hours talking to Customer Service but no help at all.

It took me 5 times to contact but at a point, I received an email from expedia.com customer service that they needed more details. So I explained my whole case and after 3 days I received a new open ticket number.
Expedia never notified us of that. As such we had to book a new flight on a different airline at a much higher price. I have made 7 calls to Expedia talked to 7 customer service agents and 4 supervisors. I have been disconnected 3 times after waiting on line for up to 40 minutes. ON May 21, I was promised an answer within 24-48 hours.
