1 helpful vote. Beware of Wizz Air scam. 5 years ago. I had the recent misfortune of flying Wizz Air just a few days ago. I got to the check in counter and I was told that each person in my party had to pay 35 Eur to do check-in at the airport. I was informed that it was my responsibility to have done my check-in online or via the Wizz Air app.

While I don't disagree that Hotels.com could do better investigating, it's simply too much of a leap to conclude that it's a deliberate act by an individual employee or a group of employees.
