3 years ago. Kirk, you did not rent a car from Priceline, you rented from a rental company and had Priceline book it. That means you are held to the terms you agreed to with both companies. You are not entitled automatically to a refund because you had personal things go wrong.

15 years ago. Hi. I have made myself an expert on evaluation of rental car rates over the past 3 months. Now I cannot speak for Canadian AAA membership, but I know that I could save at least 10% on a posted rate. But, and there is a catch! You must watch carefully that they do not apply this savings to a "market" rate.
The other thing is since the introduction of ‘dynamic pricing’ into the rental car market over the last few years things are very volatile, like airline tickets. Rates can change daily, there can be big variations in prices between the companies and even from one week (or day!) to the next with the same provider. 3.
Actually, even that rate is somewhat higher than we usually get by bidding on priceline.com. We often get a full-size car for less than $200 a week there. Just take the hotwire daily quote (not including taxes and fees) and discount it by about 25-33% in your priceline bid.
