Answer 1 of 8: It was in a bottle expressly approved for airline travel and only 3 ounces. I always buy that exact one. I have carried them through in my Freedom baggie with no trouble across Europe and the US.
I am opening this thread because so many contact solutions come in the size of 3.5 oz, while the TSA limit is 3.4 oz. The different is so tiny. Checking in my luggage is not an option because I will be traveling light. There are very few travel size solutions for gas permeable lenses on Amazon. And their prices are high, e.g, $9 for 0.33 oz.

"Medically necessary" sounds like your health and wellbeing is dependent on it. I really can't imagine that lens solution falls into that category, and I say that as someone with poor eyesight.
