You will not receive a "AAA package rate" unless you book through AAA. We have found that "package rates" are often exactly the same, whether booked through AAA or directly with Disney.
A 4 day ticket is $294 or $313.11 with tax. UT shows 4 day plus extra day free (more on that in a moment) for $309.99. That includes tax. So, in this case, AAA would win if it is $300 with tax included. Some additional suggestions. -Take the "buy x, get 1 free" with a grain of salt.

Actually, there are discounts at both restaurants and shopping w/your AAA card, but I believe you have to book your trip through AAA.
