Just drop your car they shuttle you to the airport and on return they drive you right back to your car. With a coupon it's $10/day. Check out Airlines Parking or Quik Park.

I always stay at a hotel near the airport as the price for the room and parking often times is comparable or less to the parking rate of leaving your ride at the airport for a week. The shuttles are fairly reliable although during busy times it can get hectic and some people get down right nasty about waiting their turn to board.
Avoid using Premier Parking USA, which uses the parking lot behind the Holiday Inn/Hampton Inn at Belleville at exit 190 on US 94.The shuttle runs only at the top of the hour, so once you book and pay up online, you are stuck.
$9 a day is the going coupon rate for the offsite lots and probably the cheapest. You can find coupons online, in the paper, Valu-pak mailers, etc. I normally use Airlines Parking on Merriman. US Park (Middlebelt) will accept any business card for the $9 "corporate" rate. Quik Park is another on Merriman.
6. Re: Parking at DTW. 6 years ago. Detroit Airport Parking can be tricky without research: There is terminal parking, the Green lots and four off-site lots. Be sure to check their pages for coupons. Also, certain hotels offer free transportation to and from the airport if you spend the night prior to your flight.
