I've just hired a car from Budget as I've done before, and have chosen the LAX Marriot hotel as my pickup and drop-off. They have a slightly reduced hours on weekends, but the savings are huge, under half the price rental for a few dollar Uber trips.

Do NOT hire a car from Budget at LAX. 5 years ago. Older reviews on here say they are terrible, and on the basis of my experience they have not improved. These people are con artists. Answer 1 of 2: We just returned from a SoCa trip, using LAX to fly in/out. Had prepaid with Budget with a great price, nearly $100 less than any other company I looked into, but then got concerned after reading so many poor reviews for Budget.
