1. Re: Tax Reversal charges on Credit Card. 5 years ago. I use the Horizon card: “Tax Reversal” shows on my credit card statement as a refund amount of the tax I am owed, ie it isn’t a charge, but a credit (cr) amount. Do check your statement again to see if there’s a “cr” against the amount shown.

Although original poster has been 'n gone, I'm posting my experience with the Fexco card in the hope that it will help future travellers. I flew from Shannon airport, and used the Fexco machine to process my VAT refund; the desk is located in main departure lounge beyond the shop, once you've gone through security.
