2. Re: Using a smart phone boarding pass and dealing with tsa.. 11 years ago. I tried the smartphone boarding pass for the first time today going from London to Madrid, and it worked a charm. You just hand them the phone instead of a boarding pass, they wave it under a scanner and that's it. Never been so easy .
