We had dinner at the usually reliable Walden Yacht Club this past weekend. Much to our surprise the Club was nearly empty when we arrived to meet friends for dinner at 7PM. Normally on a Saturday evening the Club would be much busier. Our food was good, but it took the kitchen a long time to produce our meals.
The prices are reasonable, the wait staff is friendly, courteous, and attentive. I also enjoy the view of Lake Conroe, which is always calming to me. Since I am older and have a tough time hearing conversation in noisy places, I really enjoy the conversation level of noise and low distraction when I visit Walden.

Me and some friends ate at the Walden Yacht Club yesterday morning, Sunday, for brunch and it was fantastic. There were three types of buffets: breakfast with Eggs Benedict, waffles, fruit and an OMLET DUDE, a lunch table with peel and eat shrimp, crab stuffed avocados, cream of broccoli soup, and various other things, and one choice hat included alll three tables and prime rib and pork loin.
