Re: A few questions about Tokyo Subway Ticket 72-hour pass. You will be starying quite a distance from the city. I just checked your specific routes. For both, the simplest, as you may have figured out, is the Tobu line to Omiya, then a JR line to Shinjuku or Akihabara; none of this is covered by subway pass.
