Re: driving directions to surfside beach, sc from I-95S. You're going to hit traffic just outside town if you come in anywhere between 11-6 ish. Last year we got snared with 2.5 miles to destination and it took us 3 hours. Get into town early in the am.
6. Re: Pacific Highway 1 - Google maps. 5 years ago. You can easily add waypoints to force Google maps to take the route you want, although you can only add so many, (ten I believe). Anyway you can type in the city or you can do a map search so you just put the X on Highway one and hit save.

While you won't have to worry about the traditional summer beach traffic, that route takes you through some very densely populated areas- meaning the traffic is always congested there.
