A couple times seems 'long' to me so I went to google maps & all times were significantly shorter (yippee!). Went to mapquest.com & times were similar to Google Maps BU each leg of trip was 15-30 minutes longer on mapquest.

6. Re: Pacific Highway 1 - Google maps. 5 years ago. You can easily add waypoints to force Google maps to take the route you want, although you can only add so many, (ten I believe). Anyway you can type in the city or you can do a map search so you just put the X on Highway one and hit save.

Google Maps uses the speed limits along the route in its time calculations, so that doesn't account for stops for fuel, food, rest breaks, or for delays for weather, traffic, or construction. You can estimate delay time based on your own travel style, and recalculate accordingly.
