Answer 1 of 21: I am staying at the Sheraton Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotel 1140 Seabreeze Avenue and I am thinking about renting a car for a day from Avis on 8000 W Broward Blvd.
There is an Avis and a Budget rental car service close to the S.E. 17th Street exit from the port but I believe they both have limited hours. It wouldn't be that difficult to return it to the airport either since it is literally 15 minutes away. The port is huge and there are no rental cars directly at the port.
