2. Re: CVS Approved RT-PCR Update. RT-PCR is not the rapid test, it is a nasal swab test that then gets sent to a lab. We took our tests Monday afternoon and had the results late Wed morning, so took about a day and a half. We are in PA, so I'm sure those results can vary by location.

CVS offers 2 tests, one that is a rapid antigen test which is not accepted and one that is a PCR test, which should be accepted. Walgreens offers a NAAT test, which is a type of PCR test. so if Hawaii accepts the Walgreens Rapid ID test (NAAT Test) then they should also accept the CVS PCR test. Report inappropriate content.
