Express passes are the way to go!! Since we were only visiting for a day, we paid for the unlimited express passes. On most rides, we walked on over and over again. The Simpson ride was the only one we had to wait for. The park is spread out so be prepared to walk.
These passes allow you to miss the lines for the tickets, security and the elevator (from memory there are two of these). They also allow you to miss the line for the elevator going down. We love the ESB as you can see the Chrysler Building from it, and it's closer to the downtown skyscrapers. And it's the iconic one.
